This touching composition was drawn by Claudia Mascaro of Italy a few days after the March 2011 disaster.

Okura-sensei wanted to create a short comic to emphasize that everyone — no matter where they live — could help the rescue efforts by making donations to the charitable organizations. The “#prayforjapan” comment was in reference to a trending topic on Twitter during the disaster.
